Tips for a perfect honeymoon
Your honeymoon is one of the most special moments in your life. Here are some tips to make it an unforgettable experience
The wedding was great and now its time to go on a romantic sojourn - just the two of you! Yes, honeymoon is one of the most special moments in every couple's life as it gives them the first chance to be together as man and wife.
Needless to say, the very word honeymoon brings along a picture which is dipped in romance and happiness. Now, here is how you can have one such picture perfect honemoon.
Plan your trip thoroughly and well in advance. Both of you should be involved in the planning. If one person does all the work, he/she will feel guilty if things don't go perfectly.
On the other hand, if you don't take part in the planning, you'll probably end up dissatisfied. Consult a travel agent. They usually have special honeymoon packages that they can offer you. These are usually good as they have been tried and tested and it’s likely that the package might save you some money.
But don’t try and be stingy with your accommodation. The ambience of your accommodation could be the single most important aspect of your honeymoon trip, as most of the couples tend to spend maximum time there.
On your day of departure, it is advisable not to have an early start, especially if you have an evening reception the previous day. Or you’ll be walking around the airport or station half asleep.
One thing that most people forget is to specify that they need a double bed. It seems funny but happens more often than you think. Also try and be as specific as possible when you’re booking you room. Try and think of things to do on your honeymoon, together or separately. It’s important to spend a little time separately so you don’t start fighting and so you can share your experiences.
And last but the least, don’t be shy about telling people that you’re on your honeymoon. Make sure to mention it when you make reservations, you’ll get special treatment!
